Although I am still recovering from recent surgery, I hope to be back and up to full speed soon. Thank you for continuing in my absence and thank you for the concerns expressed.

I am so proud of the way our recent Veterans Appreciation Dinner Dance came off. The Color Guard under CDR Amado Samson preformed dutifully and flawlessly. The dinner was scrumptious. The Veterans’ Awards celebration was memorable. Joey and Gerry tell me that next year will be even better. Forty Vets received the honors and recognition due. Likewise, the spouses of departed vets were honored. This was truly a celebration and commemoration event honoring our US Military Vets. See the pictures taken of the celebration on the last two pages of this Bugle.

Unfortunately, our plans for a Christmas Gala Holiday Party are being postponed until 17 JAN 2026 and redesignated as a New Year Gala. There are just too many similar December holiday events scheduled by our Councils, Parishes and other entities this month. The event will continue to be held at the Boca Dunes Golf and Country Club [$100 per person]. This will remain a Black Tie Affair with the previous menu and entertainment selections.

Our final CUT-OFF is 17 DEC 2025 for the New Year Gala.

Although Boca Dunes Staff will provide full services for the venue related functions, we are soliciting needed volunteers to assist with the 50/50 sales and other Assembly event related administrative needs.
