With the New Year, the Holiday Season is concluding and it is time for New Year’s resolutions to be made and hopefully not broken—at least not right away. Here is hoping you all the best in 2025.
This month, our Honor Guard has the annual Blessing of the Swords and taking of vows. These typically take place after the 5:00 PM Mass on Saturday. Exact date and time to be announced. Our Assembly meeting coincides with the Martin Luther King Jr Birthday Federal Holiday. We will still have the meeting on Monday 20 JAN 2025 in O’Shea Hall.
On the Diocesan Calendar for January is the annual “Men’s Rally” (Retreat) on Saturday 11 JAN 2025 between 8:00 am and 1:30 pm at St Ignatius Cathedral in West Palm Beach. See the ad flyer on the last page of this Bugle.
Finally, it is not to early to mark your calendars and to start planning for our “Knight at the Races” on Saturday 3 May 2025 in O’Shea Hall, Our Lady of Lourdes. Our Race Committee will be meeting mid-month. Like last year, we will be selling horses for $20 per horse per each of the 10 races. That’s 200 chances to own the winning horse. “Funny-Money” betting, great hors d’oeuvres , mint julips and much more. Wear your “Derby Duds” Dudes and your “Best Bonnets” Ladies. See you there!
