Here we are at the mid year. It is time to reflect on what we have accomplished and what are our goals for the new year.

I am excited to announce that the Assembly has made “Star Assembly” and ecstatic to announce that all Councils within the Boca Raton Assembly have made “Star Council”. Sir Knights-give yourself a well deserved “pat on the back”. You have definitely earned it.

Moving forward, I’m happy to announce that the Assembly and Council Officer elections have been completed. Tentative dates and times for the Council Installations as well and the elected slates appear on the last two pages of this “Bugle”.

At the 14 JUN 2025 Exemplification at St Ignatius Loyola Cathedral, ten of our brothers (see Page 4) were knighted into the Fourth Degree. I encourage all Sir Knights (new and older) to consider joining our Honor Guard and participating in related activities (such as the aforementioned Installations) Please see Commander Amado Samson for details.

On the Assembly’s immediate horizon, I should have the new “polo-shirts” that a lot of us had ordered for the 20 JUL 2025 Assembly Meeting.

On 8 NOV 25, our annual Veterans Dinner Dance. Another fun event that our US Military Vets attend for Free with their advance reservation. The cost to non-Vets is being worked out, but typically had been $35 per person. As a follow-up we will award attending Vets with a Free Turkey voucher from Winn-Dixie for Thanksgiving.

On 13 DEC 25, the Assembly will hold a “Black-Tie” Christmas Party at the Boca Dunes Country Club. Yes, it is a formal affair. The price per person is being finalized. Seating is currently limited to around 125. Register early to claim your seating.

Committees for both of these events are being formed and preliminary planning has begun.

You are encouraged to join us.

Finally, if possible, a copy of Council Calendars for the next fiscal year would be useful to all. It would go a long way to minimize Council and Assembly scheduling events with overlapping dates and times. Please forward them to our Faithful Captain Gerry Gawaldo.
