Boca Raton Assembly

Bugle News Featured

Here we are approaching the half-year mark.Summer is quickly approaching. We no longer need reservations for most restaurants and the traffic is for the most part manageable.
It is not time to become complacent. We need to elect officers for both the Assembly and each of our Councils. Once this is accomplished, we need to schedule installation ceremonies for each.

Council Dues for the new fiscal year beginning 1 JUL need to be secured and corresponding State fees paid.

Above and beyond that, we need to plan for second half events.

Your Assembly will be postponing the Knight at the Races until 2026. The $25 entry fee and Horse purchases will be refunded upon request. If you have not already requested a refund and desire a refund, please advise our Faithful Captain and Comptroller. If your desire, they may also be retained and applied to future Assembly events and dues. Likewise, please advise our Faithful Captain and Faithful Comptroller of your intentions.

On 8 NOV 25, the Assembly will hold our Annual Veterans Dinner Dance. Another fun event that our US Military Vets attend for Free with their advance reservation. The cost to non-Vets is being worked out, but typically had been $35 per person. As a follow-up we will award attending Vets with a Free Turkey voucher from Winn-Dixie for Thanksgiving.

On 13 DEC 25, the Assembly will hold a “Black-Tie” Christmas Party at the Boca Dunes Country Club. Yes, it is a formal affair. The cost is currently pegged at $100 per person. Seating will currently limited to around 125. This is an event to remember. Register early.

As you can see, there is a lot going on. You are encouraged to join us. Watch for more details of these events.

Finally, if possible, a copy of Council Calendars for the next fiscal year would be useful to all. It would go a long way to minimize Council and Assembly scheduling events with overlapping dates and times.
