I’m back from a world wind vacation and have noticed that the weather has changed. The holiday season is getting closer, as are two major Assembly events:

On Saturday, 8 NOV 25, we will hold our annual Veterans Appreciation Dinner Dance at Our Lady of Lourdes’ O’Shea Hall. This a celebration and commemoration event honoring our US Military Vets. They attend for Free with their advance reservation. The cost to non-Vets is $35 per person includes dinner and entertainment.

Cocktail Hour begins at 5:30 pm followed by dinner with music and dancing. The main entre includes either a choice of Grilled Steak w/Wild Mushroom Medly & Red Wine Au Jus or Grilled Salmon Fillet w/ Julienne Vegetables Lemon Herb Sauce. Appetizers and sides are included.

Challenge coins and Free Thanksgiving Turkey vouchers will be awarded to attending Vets.

Other surprises will unfold.

On Saturday, 13 DEC 25, the Assembly will hold a Christmas Gala Dinner Dance at the Boca Dunes Country Club. Yes, it is a formal “Black-Tie” affair. At $100 per person (adults only) includes dinner, entertainment and open bar during cocktail hour.

Open Bar begins at 6:00 pm in the Upstairs Lobby & Terrace and moves to the Emerald Room between 7:00 & 8:00 pm. Dinners service begins around 7:00 pm, so the bar will be open for wine or additional cocktails during dinner. It cash-bar 8:00-10:00 pm.

Hors D’oevres will be served during Happy Hour (Shrimp, Meatballs, Chicken & Cheese Bites). The main entre includes either a choice of Chicken Piccata or Salmon with Dill Sauce.
